The Smooth Ear Cuff with a Cut-Out is a massive, polished form that is cut along by a narrow slit, dividing it into two convex halves. At the ends, the halves are reconnected into one whole, thanks to which the earpiece remains stable and looks lighter from the front than its width suggests. The lack of stones and texture means that all attention is drawn to the sculptural shape and deep, mirror reflections on the rounded surface. The earring is made of brass, gold-plated with 18k gold, rhodium-plated silver, and protected with a transparent protective coating. It is put on without piercing, and the symmetrical design allows it to be worn on the left or right ear.
